As has become tradition, VEMU hosted two Forest University (Metsaülikool) City Lectures in August. Toivo Tänavsuu, one of the Co-Founders and Directors of the Estonian cancer charity Kingitud Elu spoke about the increase of donations in Estonia at Tartu College on August 8. On August 12, a frequent visitor to Toronto and literary scholar Sirje Kiin spoke about the well-known Estonian author Ene Mihkelson. These lectures were great opportunities to hear Forest University guests in case you were unable to make it to the forest.
