On Tuesday, May 30, and Thursday, June 1, the documentary film “Our Tartu. 50 years of Tartu College”, made by Kaisa Pitsi and VEMU, was screened on ETV2. The film is about keeping Estonian culture far from the homeland.
It is a cross-section of the history of Tartu College and the growth of the Estonian community in Toronto – with a view to the future.
The film was made in cooperation with VEMU – Estonian Museum Canada, Tartu College, and with the support of the Estonian Foundation of Canada.
