BaltHerNet Annual General Meeting

May 16, 2011

BaltHerNet annual general meeting will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 9.00 at the Kääriku Leisure and Sports Centre, which is located in Otepää parish, Valga County, Estonia (www.kaariku.com).

The meeting will be held on the last day of the BaltHerNet summer school Estonian Cultural Heritage Abroad 4: Focus on the Baltics (June 26-30, 2011). BaltHerNet summer schools are aimed at those Estonians abroad who are engaged in collecting and preserving the cultural heritage of the Estonian diaspora. This time we will focus on the collecting of cultural heritage: what to collect, how, from where, for whom and why. Since these topics are on the agenda in the Baltic diaspora as a whole, we welcome representatives of Latvian memory institutions and also members of the Latvian and Lithuanian diaspora involved in the preservation of cultural heritage to the summer school on the 29th – 30th of June. Summer school registration will remain open until June 3, 2011. See: http://suvekool.balther.net/2011-kaariku/
