A New Book, “Estonian Literature in Exile in the 20th Century” Has Been Published

A comprehensive work on Estonian literary history, Eesti kirjandus paguluses XX sajandil (Estonian Literature in Exile in the 20th Century), edited by Piret Kruuspere, has been published recently.

Written by literary experts, the work deals with the dynamic of literary processes in exile, creative histories of authors and literary trends in general. Extensive selected bibliographies, biographical data and numerous photos add extra value to the book.

Estonian Literature in Exile in the 20th Century is at the moment the most extensive and representative work on exile Estonian literature.

The book was published by the Under and Tuglas Literature Centre of the Estonian Academy of Sciences.
