Литовская национальная библиотека проводит виртуальный лингвистический форум

В последние годы увеличилось число иностранцев, заинтересованных в изучении литовского языка и Литвы. Люди хотят изучать язык по разным причинам. Если раньше множество иностранцев хотели учить литовский язык, потому что это был родной язык их второго «я», то сегодня большое число студентов находится в поисках своих литовских корней и идентичности.
В январе Академия образования Университета Витовта Великого в сотрудничестве с Литовской национальной библиотекой организовала виртуальный форум «Изучение языка в XXI веке: текущий опыт и тенденции», на котором ученые говорили о мультилингвизме, изучении языка, выживании родного языка в XXI веке, литовском образовании в мире и важности креативности и инноваций в изучении языка.
В этом году научные сотрудники Литовской национальной библиотеки читали лекции учащимся субботних литовских школ за рубежом на тему истории культуры, языка и литературы Литвы.
