ДАЛЕКО ОТ ДОМА. ПЕСНИ СИБИРСКИХ ЭСТОНЦЕВ. TINTURA И АРНО ТАММ, 2020

Ансамбль Tintura и Арно Тамм начали сотрудничать в 2017 году. Tintura соединяет ритмы и традиционную музыку своей родной Эстонии, создавая звучание, которое органично отражает эстонские старинные песни и мелодии. В их пространстве прибалтийская электронная музыка встречается с нежной фольклорной песней и скрипкой. Музыкантов Tintura вдохновили эстонцы, которые родились, выросли и жили в Сибири. Они говорят: «Записи фольклорных песен сибирских эстонцев словно излучают потребность и удовольствие собираться и петь вместе, мы ощутили, что они заполнили какое-то пространство внутри нас».
Большинство сибирских эстонцев являются потомками эстонцев, которые вынуждены были эмигрировать в последнее десятилетие XIX и в начале XX века, когда Эстония была частью Российской империи. Поселения, основанные еще раньше, состояли из людей, сосланных в Сибирь имперской властью. В ходе экспедиций в Сибирь, организованных Эстонским фольклорным архивом в 1990-х и 2000-х годах, были произведены записи, которые совместно с антологией «Песни сибирских эстонцев» (составитель Ану Корб, опубликовано в 2005 году) послужили исходным материалом для этого альбома. Эстонцы, эмигрировавшие в Сибирь, дорожили песнями, которым они научились от своих предков, и сохраняли их. Их передавали из поколения в поколение. В силу нового культурного и языкового окружения песни обрели смешанную тональность и стилистическое выражение. Эстонцы в Сибири придают особую важность общинному пению. Музыканты Tintura надеются, что новый альбом вдохновит слушателей и послужит стимулом для будущего изучения фольклорных песен как в Сибири, так и в Эстонии.
