Merike Kiipus (b. 1957) graduated from the Department of Estonian Philology at the University of Tartu in 1981. Since 1975 she has been working in the Estonian Literary Museum, where her main task was compiling the analytical retrospective bibliography of the Estonian press. Since 1999 she has been Head of the museum’s Archival Library. Member: Learned Council of the Estonian Literary Museum, Expert Council of the the program of the Ministry of Education and Research “Collections of Humanities and Natural Sciences”, Council for the Preservation of Cultural Treasures of Libraries, Museums and Archives, Estonian Librarians’Association, Audit Panel of the Baltic Heritage Network.
